corruption isn't about the law
but more so about the narrative read to us
and the mindset for listening
as if as bedtime stories were a sedative
to sleep with a clear conscience
naively in to the night.
yet the way our think works
numbs us from being present.
to think without endearment is emotionless.
deeper truths are emotional cohesive.
logic of the mind only floats the truth
but doesn't swim in it.
we bask in hearsay,
wear lotions and sprays
against lies and crime
but depend on solar as the zestful truth.
we live for the fabrication
of sunshade conclusions
dressed up to appear as livable solutions
but domesticated, as if oblivious to source.
we favor the shade but not the reality of it.
when it comes to corruption unannounced,
can't fathom for the likes of it.
crime beyond comprehension,
it's a prairie of red flags,
blowing in the wind of denial.
we want to have minds in drive-by status,
just long necks of curiosity
but no stoppage intended.
corruption is incomprehensible.
crime? yes, crime we can handle.
but deeds beyond
with implications even further?
we travel in bedtime story mindsets.
so what is the reward
in knowing any of this? . . .
