and so we dance

we live lives, 

based on the nose-rings of meaning, 

we almost religiously follow.

only taking nonsensical moments, 

now and then.

we have rigorous implications and account.

we hound and respond,

as if meaning was the be-all to the end-all.

we are 24/7 to the tasks, 

perceived as assigned.

it's hard to transcend this floodplain,

except by evaporative means.

our brains don't seem to do 

evaporative well.

and if we did, 

others would accuse us of such.

we have lockstep intelligence override. 

wear meaning if like skin,

and agreement is like bones.

and so we dance, 

as experiential excitement would declare . . .
