why did the man invent gender roles,
using anatomical idiot lights as excuses?
is this the same as
the propagation of meaningful discoveries?
aren't we all just primarily wearing
hand-me-downs of other's discoveries?
is entertainment
the great human comforter
or the ultimate species distraction?
when emotions get assigned
mental equivalent states,
is feeling been sabotaged
or subverted from its origin?
are the workings of a relationship
ever more than give and take,
in any transcendent way?
are diamonds in the rough,
in their natural state
until we choose to objectify them
into glitter and a personalized frame?
can I be present in my own private life
and not be self-conscious about it?
what is bothering made of?
and are our questions
ever not a breach of trust? . . .
