the difference between anguish and angst
anguish is angst taken personally to heart
while angst is the philosophical reserve of anguish
not that they would ever meet to discuss
they could be in the same neighborhood of feelings within
and never really meet for topical exchange
neither either relishes or relieves the other
surely they could be of the same topical nature
but easily not of the same perspective to share
anguish can be so upfront and declarative as means
while angst is a slow draw to words
has more of a horizon line approach to share
makes inferences to deep seated patterns of concern
anguish is a first persona account
more of close up view of immediacies
rather than angst’s wide angle shots of the foreboding
they both can open the door to anxiety
but clearly take one to different rooms of perception
if the two were playing a hand of poker
anguish is all in
while angst is internally calculating the odds
both looking for face cards to save them . . .
