what is whimsical is quizzy.
and what is quizzical is thus whimsy.
the two go off hand in hand
as if identical twins,
born to the same momentum.
what whimsical explores
quizzical will chase after.
and what is quizzical’s inquisitive
whimsical will banter.
they make up musicals together,
one with melody
they other with lyrics.
then songfest off each other.
I live in their mind-full neighborhood.
we share the same brain.
they live up stairs
but for thin walls in between
I can hear everything
that they think and say.
sometimes I hear myself muttering
out loud to myself,
from lyrics overheard,
earlier in their day . . .
