for in the grandness of the universe

we all live in this ghetto

composed mostly of hydrogen directing

and oxygen sustaining.

our primary means of language is breathing.

everything else, as spoken, 

is affectations, we pronounced.

we have created ‘methods’ as our means.

we have ‘mind’ as god 

or our ‘god’ ambassador

we have a phase-out called ‘time’.

under the tutelage of time,

we have developed retentive mind,

used the impetus of self-in-fear as means,

and created motivation 

as a use of mind- means.

we have the pleasure of a myopia called ‘experience’.

we pride our species on the collective isolation

of self, as selves-seeking-connection.

how grand it all is, 

is beyond comprehension 

and yet, also at this time.

and even if we knew, as in we all know,

our evolution, from that viewpoint,

is still remote to the actuality.

the envelopment of our habitual momentum 

prohibits the truth of ‘isness’ to exist as conscious.

we are fall-back responsive to declared circumstance.

comparative truth will not provide transition.

evolution has to penetrate through our modes of operation,

in spite of our self-conscious declarations.

we would have to surrender 

to beyond our sensory awareness,

to a means of integrity beyond our comprehension.

we would have to give up the ‘know’,

‘to be’, beyond our range of experience to integrate.

for ‘then’, as if then still had a then,

the habit and addiction of experience would cease.

for without a ‘then’, we be . . .
