it is licentiousness of the emotional state,

hidden behind the dress-up of false principles.

belief is the pattern-work of quilts on the brain,

soaked in emotional longings and uncried tears. 

beliefs are wet socks inside dance-floor shoes,

yet we give appearance and make a go of it.

beliefs are bottle-feed expectations

to the point where expectations 

become crossing guards for beliefs.

belief trains eyes to only read from the menu,

and to order what the palate already is salivating for.

beliefs, that function as shoelaces,

give people the false strength to just walk away,

as if a closed mind 

taking a hike in another's presence.

belief can create or come from emotional tattoos,

highly invisible until vocally evident.

trauma is an invisible ink of usage in this regard. 

the whole of sexual mystique 

is plastered with belief handouts, posters, and idioms,

as all conclusions are living 

into the elicitation of postures. 

belief is becoming information as landfill.

belief is the ritual of a smile for appearance's sake.

once it is on stage,

belief may forget its lines,

sing out of tune,

or admit to its holding patterns
