significance is a handicap
I know,
hard to believe
but then belief also, as a handicapper,
gets in the way.
both of these as stalwarts
are of apparent keynote importance.
both methods are subtle self-evolutionary deniers.
their import of significance is eventful
and we, as a trained species,
use eventful as a means of divergence,
a break from the boring
and the habits taken to be placidly familiar.
and thus, the slow capture-submersion
into our unconscious.
significance brings us to our feet.
we imprint towards nostalgia
as a just reward.
significance is to billboards
as living is to account!
significance is scrutinized for its account value.
hence justification for a meaningful life
is in the big picture.
but no meaningfuls produce personal evolution.
it just enhances the mind,
as if riding shotgun to a version of living.
significance is like a personal press core
looking to make good.
as a bad example:
“hey, got into a bar fight the other night.
late, of course, place about to close
but still, knocked out some guys teeth,
three of them, and one was gold!”
I know, that seems extreme as an example.
okay, how about:
“just graduated from collage about two weeks ago.
really going to miss collage,
damn”.
whatever the account
significance, as a personal method,
will lead to burden in the evolutionary process.
and so with belief also
as a well traveled road
of intention and follow through.
belief has baggage
that translates into expectancy.
so then I am looking for what I know
to come to me as what I expectantly need.
I am not free to surrender to the unknown.
I am secure in knowing
and belief bestows.
thus another version
without potential to surrender
offered from the learned versions of oneself.
thus not letting an unknown-self surface
out into the expression of our being.
it seems that significance and belief work together.
they foster a life on behalf of
the search for a meaningful life
beyond the act-out versions
as if to justify and certainly to account.
to surrender the obvious of oneself
seems counter productive.
yet the true search does not lead to answers.
the allegiance of answers falsely dignifies.
true inquiry is surrender
without even a question being asked.
mind is to follow and never the task of lead.
to communicate to another is a lesser state of being.
to convey with another
opens doors otherwise unexposed.
conveyance has immersion,
more than leaves impressions.
each of us is self-invitational.
if understanding provides for inner surrender
then the mind has honored the task at hand.
one’s life is the momentum
of the ambiance from within.
all of the self-account has a shelf-life in diminishment.
the spirit of being is ongoing
and its energy can shower those in reception
without any notion of significance
as a time honored distraction.
belief is but a tattoo on the mind
looking for external identification and acceptance.
in many ways,
it is the means of negative reinforcement.
approval as center stage is promotional distraction.
evolution would hardly know of itself.
no words directly speak to that cause.
when drawnness gets conscious,
all the rules of play and dance
ever so subtlety
live their way into conscious existence . . .
