we be dammed

philosophers never learned to lead by following.

they did learn their philosophy first by following.

but deeper following is a form of progressive leading.

no topic is sacred from scrutiny. 

but every topic, in its status as a topic, is suspect.

to question topical, is the start of progressive.

to go beyond what means into what means.

it was never the languaging

but ever the syntactical nature of languaging,

that requires questioning,

without the fallback use of the language, 

defending itself by its usage.

nothing can come from discussion or agreement.

that is already too late in the process.

we have to attend the unconscious habits of thought,

and the procession of rules before they pervade,

as if we were without conclusions as a real possibility.

how do moments in the mind pass?

how child like would that be like?

and we process children to mature to….. what?

we have that 'brilliance' is determined by those

who have advanced?

in what way does advancement demonstrate, 

that is not already far down the road of assumptions made?

if every moment was a think-tank existence,

how would we generate a now ongoing,

not for profit or for gain,

but for joy of being and connectedness?

yes, as the think tank of being.

what would that be like,

that didn't start at birth

and slowly disintegrate into maturity and adulthood?

maturity is just an agreement made,

in that we agreed to agree.

there is no depth to agreement, 

as much as there is appearance given. 

if habit is the one hand and routine is the other,

how is it that we choke ourselves into aging,

the way we do?

everyone is a measure of survival,

without that premise ever being a contest, so stated.

all that ever happens with aging is that,

they make the finish line an older age!

you can forget about wizardry, long gone.

enchantment is just thought whimsy.

abracadabra was taken over by new products design.

technology gives us occupancy for sure.

if we have riddles worth mentioning,

then capitalism is working its buns off, 

trying to figure a way in.

we live in the police state guarded by doubt,

as mind experiments go.

we have outplayed the model, 

we were given to work with.

nothing about the think we do,

translates into transcendence.

what we get is new menus,

order from choice, 

and experience, 

as if that is the ultimate payoff.

it's hard to be comfortable in one's being,

if that is what we are up to.

if our god left earth 

for a very good reason,

we'll be dammed 

unless we figure that out . . .
