and it dissolves upon approach?
you seek it for consolation
and it is unrealized in comfort afforded.
you seek it for wealth
and a distant island in dreams is provided.
you seek it for spiritual advancement
and your life is posterized with storied accounts.
you seek it for some purposeful existence
and it collapses in achievement’s short-life span.
you seek as a next thing to do
and the business and fussiness all collapse unto itself.
you seek as an orientation
only to discover that method alone is madness.
you question seeking
as if where from within
only to discover
being drawn, as with passion,
makes seeking seem so simple-minded obsolete.
what draws you is a form of seeking.
receptivity to what approaches
is the seeking for embodiment to reveal.
that you channel what chases after you
is as your evolutionary path,
as if it walks you onward
as well as inward . . .
