'is' is 11/2/19

‘is’ is, . . . ‘is’.

not easily brought to mind

by the recognition of ‘is’. 

is awareness of ‘is’, 

is distant from the actual ‘is’.

the experience of ‘is’ 

is also way after ‘is’.

‘is’ does not register easily in concepts 

or in words.

‘is’ has no formality

or no madness either.

‘is’ is outside of time’s general awareness

yet we clamor for ‘is’ as representation.

sure, we can say ‘is’

as if comprehension settles into it.

but no,

‘is’ comes into the womb,

lavishes the birth,

is buried deeply inside innocence’s reflection,

is, a stand-back hidden dynamo 

behind the human projections.

‘is’ is before meaningful’s composition.

is, the composer of one’s phrenetic origin,

takes on the cues of bodily presence

but sources from beyond mass’s occupancy.

‘is’ will trickle down 

into the earnestness of passion’s expression. 

will have at life-giving but never die.

is, the anvil of now’s invisibility. 

it is profound anonymousness yet everlasting.

‘is’ has mindfulness as a reality-wingman,

impresses without notice as its means,

fuels and nourishes from the soul,

allows heartfelt as a mentor.

‘is’ dwells inside of being 

but grandly outside of time.

yet ‘is’, is without stature, 

spirit without claim . . .
