To me, in conversation,
the tonal exchange
can be more interesting
than the topic
but it usually
cannot be addressed directly.
So what is interesting then
is to match the other person
in response tonally
even if there is
no topical agreement.
To simply go for
the one syllable repeat
but in a replicating tonal reply,
they say, I mean, you hear,
“da da dada da
dadada da dadadada da da”
and then you say, “bo bobo
bo bobobobo
bo bobo bo bobobo bo”
in response.
There should be
some understanding there!
And so it goes.
They say, then you say
until both parties are laughing
and possibly chiming in,
finishing each other’ sentences,
harmonically!
The Meta brains
are language happy.
This is probably way better
than common sense.
And agreement is
not so much contractual
as it is consensual,
possibly harmonic . . .
(Sort of like
speaking in tongues).
Wawa wawawawa?
