What is breath?

Helpings of alchemical invisibles?

Supplies to the inner mystic?

Fluid rope for the climb

of the timeless mountain of existence?

Sustenance for the countenance

and constancy of the drummer within?

The one habit demanding consciousness

to transform the script

and alter the happenstance?

The gift given in a “pay it forward”

symbiotic global relational dance?

That which equally avails all humans

with the opportunity for the consciousness

of oneness to abide?

Yes, breath is a sacred language

spoken with the aura of the being.

What there is to say,

the heart will think of it first.

Mind could become Valedictorian

or class clown.

Either way, mind is but a megaphone

for this cause.

Breath educates what heart teaches . . .
