So far, for civilizations,
the organization of life
toward inevitable transformation
is through apparent
and eventual failure.
The cornerstones are packed
with lies, deceits,
false representations and inferences
until the certitude is an illusion
and the true operatives
have gone away
and though unclaimed
come from some thing else
that has become more essential
in the collective mind scheme
of human life.
Failure is fanfare
along a more far reaching time line.
We hold tightly
to repeatability by expectations
and false measures of success.
Staying current seems to be
a projection justified.
The symbols we claim as constant
are illusions we agree upon.
The world is flux
and we grossly deny it is so.
Static is our primary means.
Language lobbies for it
to be the case.
Meaning implies or infers
that that is so true
by everything that is said
and subsequently done.
But really in the eventual collapse,
everything is in
a constancy of alteration
and we lack the aptitude of permission
to play it as it lays in the ever-change.
Civilization from the outside in
successfully fails at accounting for life
as it is lived by its constituency.
Civilization from the inside out
is you and me succeeding at living
as nameless as that may appear
to anyone not in our presence.
We are the seat of civilization
and certainly not resting
on our laurels . . .
