the problem with understanding
is that it is a given.
so how to inquire
but not with understanding.
what is the mechanism of understanding
in its functioning?
is it beyond the neurology involved?
does descriptive provide adequate responses?
does understanding ever beget
anything beyond understanding?
how does deeper truth exist
without understanding backing it?
could life be lived in the face of understanding,
being appalled at activity and outcome?
isn't understanding's comeuppance just logic
delivered in language inwardly expressed?
and that language is already compliant
with the premise of understanding as worth?
what if meaningful was creatively interactive
with that which comes from the unknown
and potentially is unknowable as a standalone?
if there is a fluid world
where understanding can only go and take pictures,
as still-images of actionable life,
then brought back to understanding's world as evidence
and yet not coded to fully represent that living done there,
then comprehension is only an audience perspective.
what if beingness is real
but being is subject to self aware,
where all instructions are self approved
rather than creatively lived alive?
how divergent is understanding's approach from being?
are we overly committed to understanding's approach
and thereby indwelling rather than evolutionarily advancing,
for the sake of appearance presents looks to impress,
but in a long view
change is only substitutional in nature?
it does fascinate our experiential means
but experience does not look to relinquish its position
of relevance for human endeavor.
yet experience is always self-reflective in its carriage
and somewhat regulatory is a self-regard way.
people are tired and subsequently bored with experience.
imbibing becomes an assumed alternative,
drugs, alcohol, spontaneity, impulse, whim, whatever,
to escape experience's humdrum of unseen methodology.
where from within would we be called from
and who from within would heed and respond
that experience would not tend to overwhelm
and subsequently replace with a version of understanding?
there is an entrapment that functions
as a self-conscious mind functioning as being conscious.
from where within does a deeper sense of being
arrive at a higher state of consciousness
than self has already developed and maintains?
who in us is the understudy for experience
that we hope someday will become center stage?
some much so,
that life will advance from being a self version
of our own broadway show,
that we both portray and also audience interchangeably,
that understanding may give way
and the time delay of comprehension will be gone.
and we then approach the now
totally present without understanding as a restraint . . .
