blame

the search for blame,

is a spectator's prerogative.

an audience has needs for distance and closure

and an investment in a projected moral position,

rushed with private commentary,

as if more distance is needed.

dependent upon internal emotional clamor, 

the consternation has an ongoing life,

as if eventual logical will spell it all out.

blame becomes the punctuation on first thoughts.

we are in need of a conclusion, 

even before we have full-bodied happenstance.

maybe it is a form of post-helplessness,

as done deeds, 

cursing us out in absence, 

here-abouts that get back to us, 

as irrelevant, 

except for the blame to end the story,

verdicts that have ineffective half-lives,

but serve to know,

where not to be

and what not to do,

blame that is not even accusational, really,

but a means of self protection.

way too late for, 

what could I have done?

is this more of a satisfactory account presented,

just to get my emotional attention,

in an either read on or listen on or view on,

dependent upon the delivery method?

news, driven by profit in a listener-dimension,

is stalking an audience with blame-meal potential,

as if we demanded on a need-to-know basis.

yet blame is a helplessness in status.

maybe we then make more laws to be broken,

more legitimizing to be documented,

but certainly no closure to cause

or the reasons for circumstances to occur.

no reweave of the culture to be inclusive

towards eliminating need for blame to occur.

maybe notice is a defensive need

rather than a caring one.

blame is certainly faster off the starting line.

public interest is more of, 

what not to do and where not to go.

public interest is a conundrum as entertainment.

one's attention has dollar value, 

however it is obtained.

blame has solicited, 

for volume in response.

newsworthy is an alarmist credo and songbook.

blame is the chorus everyone knows by heart,

no matter the title of the alarming song.

blame is a natural consequence of conclusions made.

conclusions made need substance to fill.

blame, in that regard,

has free-reign and full bore potential.

blame is like emissions from the car,

as departing exhaust, 

spent as passing interest.

blame is like wet firewood,

hard to get warmth out of its in usage.

even blame, face to face,

is a stand-off perspective.

so when did blame create positive resolve?

for that is a very intimate personal evolution,

that, as transition, 

is life's work unfolding.

how to take a blame 

and grow an orchard,

to take a blame 

and feed large numbers,

to take a blame 

and further a beneficial resolve.

blame is not a cutting edge term in usage.

at best, it is impetus for dull law construction.

take a blame a

nd create a dove.

take a blame 

and find the seed within it.

find a truth 

that has a future for evolution's sake.

blame has the value of a penny

and a life of spent-ness forthcoming.

for where does blame go,

to live a fruitful and promising life,

in the hearts and minds of anyone? . . .
