In a quantum world,
the phrase “I love you”
is a form of objectification.
In a quantum world
phraseology is an affirmation
of separation,
as language lobbies
for isolated elements
brought together
but not unified to start with.
It is a fencing operation
in which we steal from our heart
and by verbiage,
extract it
and verbally exhibit it to others.
In a quantum world,
to see all things
as interruptedly connected
defies the logic
of naming all things
as separate.
Naming is an outside business
as a means of living away
from the connective source.
Recognition of this means,
appropriates a method
of distancing
that compensation
by understanding,
cannot make up for.
When empathy looses its grasp,
and subjectivity looses its identity,
and objectivity has been humbled
beyond recovery,
then a language
from the inside out can be born.
Doves will fly out of our mouths,
and light will come out of our eyes,
and the earth will allows us
to walk with and within,
and a grain of sand will share
its wealth of journey.
But for now,
the holding pattern has labels
and directives to follow.
And the pretend we initiated,
continues to baffle our beings.
