source-witness watching self in self-dialogue

 

self-dialogue is internal ever on the go.

sometimes the self of it listens

to the self go on and on.

topics take a beating of verbiage to render

and self listens 

as if separate from that self talk.

self hears the whole account.

then, there is the watching 

of the self hearing,

a surmise beyond the direct topic exchange.

watching the self 

in reaction and or response.

though that self is not entering 

into the direct exchange,

just self-private beyond the inner chatter,

something of mood and feelings aware.

and the watching that does that

is so quiet and without response or alarm.

then there is beyond this the witness,

as a deeper view watching the watcher,

watching how the watcher embraces the self

that is listening to the self-dialogue go on.

and the witness gathers 

from a deeper sense of being

a broader sense of permission and restraint,

a grander sense of scale for a being to be.

and eventually there is the source

which is that of the being 

that generates the source 

that is the source of the witness 

with all its cares and concerns

about the watcher who takes in all 

that the self in circumstance has to offer.

given that the self 

entertains the self-dialogues

quite privately yet forever ongoing.

and one's life is composed of all of this.

all of this consciousness 

of self-consciousness,

as source is witness to the watching 

of the self listening in on self-dialogues,

as we all are party to this.
