did you ever notice how dismissal works?
the mind task that functions as dismissal
is its objection,
that renders as a judgment.
is it other interest as override?
is it a sinking feeling
that now for then,
attention grabs?
is it sensed as now-structured
made evident
and then reasoned as a choice?
either a or b?
and b now overwhelms a.
is it a loss of focus,
as a stampede of otherwise images
bent on distraction?
is it a phasing of interest,
where topic just got lost
in the overview?
is it a sense of rejection,
before forming itself into a response?
is it a focus frame
that just got either so large
or so small,
that that topic at hand
lost a sense of reference as worthy?
even dismissal is subject to
attention span.
no harm intended,
but just the same.
what was it
that we were doing
or concerned about? . . .
