artful versus audience

where the artful versus the audience 

is in the realms of experiencing.

the artful is always looking 

to add perceptual skills,

that add to the depth of rendering.

for the artful is somewhat concerned 

with perceptual skill advancement.

for it takes from incoming impressions, 

a sense of self-reflected.

feels that experience 

is a method of self being rigored,

has personal and private concern 

with the direct intimacies of experience,

as expressed inwardly ongoing.

considers the manifest of life

as all of the sensory range involved,

is more invested in this process

than the resultive state 

gained from eventual conclusions made.

and does not consider experience 

to be a subtle form of indulgence,

but more so, a sense of necessity expressing.

the artfulness of it has focusing skills

that are ever-sensing 

towards a refinement of articulation.

it has a genuine sense 

towards the effortless rigor of focusing.

the artfulness of it

would rather work 

in an artisan format of watercolors

than the print medium of an editor.

would rather be on a wandering beach walk,

coveting in the search,

for highly colored, very refined, broken bottle glass

than at a liquor store, 

selecting out something of a bottled nature.

for a future time

to be the reward, 

as in then, being consumed.

curiosity has for it self

a sense for itself,

a sense from being a snake in the grass

and wandering in the search,

while indulgence has the correct hand-use 

of a white cain

in a field of tall weeds.

indulgence wants a swimming pool

out of a birdbath intention,

wants fall leaves to bundle and pile themselves

for a rewarding run-through or dive. 

yet over and over,

indulgence could live as a run-on sentence. 

indulgence has audience needs

that hide out in the expression of actions taken.

but are actually of their own private needy concerns,

that go unnoticed for what they really represent.

indulgence is a season of urges,

impulses that are on assignment,

that hide out in audience-behaviors presented,

that attempt to lead to a subside.

audience has a lot of that,

going for it yet unrevealed as such.

mind-set awareness features both.

artful wants to wonderfully fly

while indulgence wants to go fast and far . . .
