anybody reading a book on zen
eventually has to discover,
its the integrity
of the ink's bleeding impress
and the absolute embrace
of the every fiber
that is the zen.
evermore than the run
of the words in passage.
just any where,
where the ink and the fiber meet,
is the impermanence
of ongoing existence,
as if the zen of it
is understandable.
and yet,
we're never separate from,
even though it appears
as if to be crossing the mind,
as observance . . .
