to be of honor
with what is,
in the service of how
it is being done.
but not in the efforts
of convenience,
not in the leverage
of one-sidedness
or a self-serving approach.
but to be
with what it is,
through the actions
of what we do.
not for our time together
to pass more swiftly.
but to be immersed
more deeply,
in the livingness
of its presence,
as we are
its energetic truth
in passing . . .
