does bravado have a life span?
did it ever have a beginning
like almost everything else?
bravado seems to be a life trait
from some extra sensory gene-pool.
something from another planet of existence
that escaped onto our world,
but only in very specific people.
does it come to be manifest,
and did it ever have a philosophy birth it?
no, apparently not.
it would take up whatever in form.
it would never be formally seen,
as if to ever cast a shadow of doubt.
it defies logic and out-scopes
the need for surrender as a means.
it lives the life of spirit
yet inwardly dwells in some,
as if the embodiment of their being.
either they are present on a bigger stage
than anyone nearby notices
or there is more at stake
specifically for them
then anyone else can imagine
in the moment.
they may overplay the ambience
of the setting.
they may exude.
they may have a display
of a poundage of courage
as in betting the house
on this moment's claim.
the air of presence is filled
with an unclaimed density
there is somehow more at stake
then is clearly identified.
there is a manifesto of myopia,
yet publicly ingestible.
how is that done?
an endless moment of truth
coming to the fore.
who wouldn't give an eyetooth
for a trait like that?
well if it is pride based,
I supposed we all would ponder its worth.
if it's self-induced swagger,
then it's a walk-away situation every time.
I know I could appreciate the zeal
if it's innocence-based at the outset.
damn.
and I have had so much appreciation
for basking in its presence
and pondering . . .
