for profound learning from cognitive dissonance,
it isn't the contradictory information presented
but the conclusions made
that seemed to benefit us all.
but paradox, in any form, is to sweeten the pot.
entertaining the contradictions directly,
not for a battle royal or a victory
but more of a self study of brain function
under the wrath of self beliefs
is a profound method of self discovery.
not that one lives for answers
but, more so, to get to
a deeper witness of clarity of thought.
we all have a closet full of past judgments.
some we ware on a daily basis
while others are hauled out for special occasions.
fundamentally the brain is nude inside those outfits
but we tax ourselves with the apparel of belief.
we pick battles for distinction
and to uphold positions of those beliefs.
we think the issue is about change for the better
when the real challenge is not change
but transcendence.
that would mean not new answers
but deeper witness observation of self, behind mind.
paradoxes taken as sucker punches
promote positionality.
we take stands as if an identity crisis is occurring
when the witness focus
views the mind in reaction or response.
this isn't an internal battle
if your mind isn't really you.
it works for you but you are not it.
you are not your think
just in response
to the trouble your think gets into.
you can either personalize into battle
or witness to advance the situation into transcend.
from a self-witness perspective,
energetic honesty far surpasses
whatever mind-truth has to offer.
there are more internal dimensions available
then paradox can aggress.
and yes, beliefs already held,
will be the last to know . . .
