revenge is hardly ever pitch perfect.
it's generally off key
or even tone deaf to start with.
both of those circumstances
and their original source
need to be rediscovered in ways
other than revenge directed.
but you can't ask another person to be your healer
when you initially think that
they are part of the crime scene
to start with.
revenge is like inviting another to a theme party
where you are telling them what to ware
and what to bring and what to initially say.
tell me,
who is having a fun outing there, besides you?
even if you get another to bite on that premise,
the two of you
might as well be locked up
in an emotionally designed escape-house together,
working against each other,
to get free.
revenge initially certainly sets off the silent fire alarm
but pissing on a nearby fire hydrant,
as if associated to be associated
with the origin of the crime
is only convoluted sense of self-relief.
revenge signals that you have an internal tuning fork
that someone else has played.
band you now claiming ownership
and internally sourcing it
puts your real self-discovery
on a whole different circumspect
than the revenge task you had in mind . . .
