thought out of think 12/12/19

the way that thought comes from think

is animation reduced to still-shots stored.

think invites and immerses,

thought collects and retains.

thought’s method is photos 

in a dark room developed

then stored for further referencing, later

as in further thought, is then memory assisted.

if think was a set-free,

thought clips the wings,

tethers the talons of discovery,

and hoods the perception 

from visionary potentials.

thought says out-loud-mouth inner-dialog,

lets cognition kibitz on every sensory view.

feelings have to have ‘identify’ as their skin.

think is burdened with logic 

as a wardrobe to be worn,

while language is a moral code to be adhered to.

think can only interface

if thoughts receives the benefits.

thought is government

while think is taxed for every effort.

thought always claims 

that think would be lost

if thought was not there to save the day,

yet thought only has, ‘you are here’

as locational answers.

thought is ever self-rhetorical

in just that superseding way.

one cannot look a gift-thought in the mouth

at least, think can’t.

think is cutting edge

but thought has think biding its time.

if thought wasn’t a broadway show

on a reality stage

then think would have lived ourselves alive.

but thought is reality’s reductionistic means.

just imagine think 

without any generative thought in pursuit.

just think, without retention or regalia.

for now, in transition,

we’d all be thought-scaredy cats.

that’s how sided the mind-game is.

can’t we just have the olfactory of think

before identification steals the show,

the search before the seizure,

the immersion before the acquiescence,

the essence before the abstraction,

and the is before the it? . . .
