now is always playing tag with time.

time is always it, 

but not.

now plays, 

but is not playing.

but time thinks now is always playing.

time is never able to tag now.

now is before the constancy of its laughter

that time hears.

time is always aware of itself 

but not now.

yet time is still always playing.

and now is before its laughter 

is ever heard,

and yet is still that now

that time can't ever tag . . .
